"This project is part of the ongoing infrastructure development that happens around Enterprise South Industrial Park," Sherita Allen, senior advisor for economic development and workforce development for the City of Chattanooga, told the board. She added the improvements would "benefit all of the projects there, not just for a particular company."
Board members moved, seconded and voted in favor of the resolution; the presiding member called the vote in the meeting and the motion passed. The resolution text referenced TDOT and a federal project identifier included in the agenda materials.
