Peoria County awards Glassford Road resurfacing contract; requests $658,000 appropriation from motor fuel tax fund

The committee moved to approve the bid and appropriation; a motion was made by Paul and seconded by Terry. The voice vote recorded was unanimous in favor. Staff said the resurfacing is intended to improve, and possibly extend, the service life of the roadway in the short term while longer-term reconstruction planning continues.
