Steve McGaughey of Planning and Zoning presented the application for a July 19 fundraiser at the agricultural building at the fairgrounds, saying the event would run from 5 to 10 p.m. and that alcohol operations would be managed by “Sarah's bullpen.” McGaughey told the board he did not “know a whole lot more about it than that” and that the application arrived early.
