Kent seeks public input on Campus Park redevelopment; applications open for boards and commissions

Mayor Dana Ralph urged residents to provide input on a redevelopment plan for Campus Park, located west of French Field at Kent Meridian High School, and reminded the public that the city is accepting applications for several boards and commissions.
“...we're in the process of determining what that's gonna look like in the future, and we really want community feedback,” Ralph said, and directed residents to stop by the Kent Library to view project feedback boards or to take the online survey by June 11 at engagekentwa.gov.
Ralph also said the city is accepting applications for seats on the parks commission, the bicycle advisory committee, the land use and planning body, the human services commission and the arts commission, and that details and application forms are available on the City of Kent website.
The remarks were presented as part of the mayor’s weekly update and did not announce a preferred design or funding commitment for Campus Park. The mayor provided a public deadline for feedback (June 11) and an online location (engagekentwa.gov) for the survey and materials.
