Board approves temporary liquor‑license premise extension for Titletown Summer Fun Day event

The Village Board approved a temporary premise extension for Titletown’s Class B beer and liquor license to cover a barricaded portion of the parking lot north of Titletown for the Summer Fun Day Showcase scheduled June 7.
Administrative staff said the extension will run from 1:45 p.m. until 11 p.m. and will not require a street closure; the event footprint will be contained within the Titletown District and the area will be closed to parking during the event. A Titletown representative was present to answer questions.
Trustees moved, seconded and approved the temporary extension by voice vote. Staff recorded that prior summer events sometimes involved Ridge Road closures in earlier years but this year’s event will be wholly contained to the Titletown District.
The extension allows Titletown to serve alcohol within the barricaded lot for the concert series kickoff on June 7.
