During committee discussion Director Sowell described the project scope as a courtesy dock, parking renovation, and trail resurfacing; the Park and Recreation Committee recommended council approval of the agreement.

The council’s vote endorsed the committee’s recommendation; execution of the grant agreement and project scheduling will follow the city’s administrative processes and grant requirements.
The council vote followed a motion by Council Member Besaw and a second by Council Member Herter; the motion carried 9-0.
