The Brecksville–Broadview Heights Board of Education on May 28 approved a $251,352.60 contract with Ohio Paving & Construction to repair and repave the district transportation/maintenance facility and the middle‑school drive.

Administrators said the work will be completed over the summer and is more extensive than routine asphalt patching; the middle‑school drive had been deferred from the previous year to avoid rework during possible campus master‑planning changes. The project includes pothole repair and resurfacing to improve bus circulation and reduce mid‑year maintenance disruptions.

A board member confirmed the contract applies to the existing drives and not to a future planned connector drive. The district noted bids came in at a competitive level and that work was scheduled for the summer to limit interference with school operations.
