At the close of the May 28, 2025 meeting, planning staff announced the Town of Woodside will begin an update to the Town Center Area Plan and is in initial outreach to property owners.
Sage said staff is starting to form a citizen advisory committee that will include planning commissioners, the Architectural and Site Review Board chair, chairs of the circulation, trails and open-space committees, and some property owners. The staff announcement said the Town Council will be asked on June 10 to formally appoint committee members and to review the proposed boundaries of the Town Center Area Plan. Jason Ledbetter, the town’s new town manager, attended the Planning Commission meeting as an observer and was introduced to the commissioners.
Staff described the current work as early-stage outreach and said the commission will be kept informed as the process moves forward. No formal policy decision was made at the May 28 meeting; the matter will be before the Town Council on June 10 for appointment authority.
