Rutland RPC reports March 2025 finances remain in the black

On expenses, staff noted higher-than-expected costs in line 535 due to an unplanned Rutland event sponsorship, line 537 for talent and organizational support, line 550 for rent and improvements reflecting multiple rent payments captured, and line 560 for insurance paid twice in the period.
Staff reported they are managing revenue timing (including credit-card point shifts) and expect programmatic revenues to normalize as state-funded projects proceed. There was no formal board vote on the financial report; the item was presented for information and discussion.
Commissioners thanked staff for the work on the forecast and the assurance that the commission is projected to end the year in the black.
