Dennis Mullane, 21 Colonial Road, spoke in favor and told the board the change would not affect his view or traffic. After questions about maintaining the existing bulkhead, foundation work and the deck footprint, a board member moved to approve the special permit based on the drawings and materials submitted; the motion was seconded and carried. The chair told the applicants a written decision would be prepared and filed and reminded them of the standard appeal period before any building permit issues.
