Cibolo council approves subdivision sign, accepts new road and donated notice board; Deer Creek projects reported 75% complete

Cove Lane connects Town Creek Road with Cibolo Valley Drive, south of the Charleston Park neighborhood and north of the Bella Rose neighborhood and Legacy Charter School.
Separately, the council voted 6-1 to accept a public notice board donated by DND Contracting for placement in front of City Hall; the mayor encouraged residents to view the board, noting it is located to the right of City Hall’s front door.
The council also discussed a memorial for longtime community supporter Sue Bassone. The council voted to plant a memorial tree for Bassone in front of the City Hall annex; the meeting summary did not record a vote tally but indicated the motion passed and that a date for the planting will be announced later.
City Manager Wayne Reed updated the council on public-works work, saying Deer Creek Boulevard reconstruction is currently underway and the Deer Creek drainage project is more than 75% complete.
