The top two proposals were presented to the county’s policy and governance group, which approved forwarding the highest-scoring proposal to the Board of County Commissioners.
“I'm recommending selection of the most qualified proposal, Oklahoma County Diversion Hub, to provide services should Oklahoma County be selected to receive funding from the OHE opioid event board,” the purchasing staff member said.
Commissioners moved, seconded and voted in favor of the recommendation on the record in the meeting transcript; the recommendation passed without further discussion in the transcript. Purchasing staff said summary materials were placed with commissioners for additional detail.
The transcript records the county’s selection recommendation; the county’s receipt of grant funding from the referenced board and any subsequent contracting would be contingent on external funding decisions and formal contract execution.
