Plano Announces Sensory Swim Sessions at City Pools for Children with Autism

Plano has scheduled sensory swim sessions for children with autism spectrum disorders and sensory processing differences at city pools from June 7 through Aug. 10, the city’s weekly broadcast said.
“We have set aside a special time at various city pools called sensory swim,” said Steve Stoler, Plano’s media relations director.
Admission is free with a recreation membership; nonmembers pay regular admission. Stoler said participants are welcome to stay once the pool opens to the public. The broadcast directed listeners to the schedule at share.plano.gov/sensorydays.
