The Prosser School District board approved second and final readings of three district policies: Policy 3413 (student immunization and life‑threatening health conditions), Policy 3210 (nondiscrimination) and Policy 5406 (leave sharing).
Administrators told the board there were no substantive changes since the policies' first readings. "There are no changes since it was first presented," a district staff member said during the student immunization policy item; the same explanation was given for the nondiscrimination and leave-sharing policies. Each policy was approved by voice vote after a motion and second.
Board members did not propose amendments at the meeting. The policies will be reflected in the district's policy manual and enforced according to district procedures; the board did not provide additional implementation direction during the public meeting.
