Milton schools wrap up year with field trips, events and staff recognition

High‑school students are scheduled to partner with kindergarten classes on a garden project to teach where food comes from. Summer‑school sessions were noted to begin June 9 for the June session; staffing for July and August will be assessed and presented to the board in a subsequent meeting.
Board members and administrators thanked parent groups and volunteers for donations and event support, and several board members praised staff and parent volunteers for smoothly managing multiple concurrent events despite limited parking and weather interruptions.
