Inspectional staff noted the premises was an unfinished shell at the time of the hearing and recommended a reinspection once buildout is closer to completion to verify secure liquor storage and that all servers are TIP-certified. The commission approved the license on the condition that a follow-up inspection confirm secure storage and staff training.
Action: Motion to approve the restaurant malt-and-wine license subject to a reinspection and confirmation of secured liquor storage and TIP certification was made, seconded and approved by the commissioners present (two votes in favor). Inspectional Services will schedule a reinspection before final operational clearance.
The conditional approval allows the business to complete final buildout and prepare for opening, with the commission to verify compliance before alcohol service begins.
