Lynn Senior Center schedules interviews for head clerk; kitchen coordinator position posted

Megan, director of the Lynn Senior Center, told the Council on Aging that interviews have been scheduled for the head clerk position and that staff have been trained on the city Munis operating system to handle billing until a clerk is hired.
"We have scheduled interviews for the head clerk position," Megan said, adding that she is learning Munis and that public-health staff have helped with billing while the center fills vacancies.
Megan also said the kitchen coordinator position was posted last week and noted that current staff — Tanya, Barbara, Rachel and herself — are sharing meal-preparation responsibilities in the interim. "We are all doing a lot of different jobs at one time to ensure that we're still providing the services and resource to our seniors," she said.
During discussion, Debbie, reporting for the Friends group, and another council member asked whether Spanish-language skills were required for the kitchen coordinator. Megan said, "No. It is not." The meeting record shows Spanish fluency was described as important for the clerk position but not required for the kitchen role.
No formal personnel action or hiring decisions were recorded in the meeting minutes; staff said hiring processes (posting, interviewing) are ongoing.
