We're gonna check where we, you know, record our successes and our lessons and kind of look how we're going to apply to the next 15 years, the next 10 years, 5 years, wherever." These remarks were offered during the public-comment portion of the meeting.
A staff member said, "But, you know, we'll certainly, look at some options here and have a plan coming back," indicating staff will return with proposals for the group to consider. Several commenters asked for clearer meeting objectives and pre-meeting materials so participants can prepare: "if you would have the the conversation about what is gonna be addressed this evening well in advance ... if that could be ... better explained on the front end," one attendee said, urging organizers to assign "homework" to shorten future meetings and make them more productive.
The meeting closed without a policy vote on the plan. A public commenter moved to adjourn and another attendee seconded; the chair stated, "We have a motion and a second to adjourn. We will reconvene next month." No formal vote tally on the motion was recorded in the transcript.
