The police commissioner also presented three quotes for ID‑card printers and recommended using grant money to cover the purchase; the specific recommended unit was quoted at $5,423.84 including software and supplies. Trustees asked for the written quotes and a formal recommendation so a resolution can be prepared.
Separately, during the meeting the board adopted resolutions authorizing contracts with Doyle Security Systems and Motorola Solutions for police equipment (in‑car video and license‑plate recognition), which appear in the board's votes.
