Staff told the council the contract and EDC presentation had been discussed in prior meetings, including an EDC briefing on March 11 and a general government meeting that approved the concept on April 22. The contract is intended to maintain regional economic partnerships and promote local business support and recruitment.
Councilors did not request modifications; staff will execute the contract and the EDC will provide services consistent with the documented 2025 work plan.
