The Hardin County Commissioners Court on Tuesday adopted Resolution 23-25, requesting a public sale of four properties at a delinquent tax sale.
Jerry Kerkendahl, standing in for Sheena Moore of McCreery, Vasilpa, Bragg, and Allen, told the court: “We're asking that you, approve our bids for the public sale on June, on the resolution that we have here. There are 4 properties. 1 is a resale for the first time. The second 2 are 2 resales, and the third, excuse me, fourth property will be a third resale.”
The motion to adopt the resolution was made by Commissioner Kuykendahl, seconded by Commissioner Cooper, and approved by voice vote with no recorded opposition.
The court’s minutes list the collection firm (MBBA) and note that the county attorney’s office received the request; the resolution sets the county’s formal request for a public sale but the transcript does not record purchaser names, property addresses or minimum bid amounts.
