County Executive Zook said he intended to add Bryson Ben as the alternate county elected official member for the government conduct committee; the council accepted the recommendation by motion and vote. The executive also presented three names for the newly formed Cache County Fire Department Board of Appeals: Mike Young (Bureau Manager, Utah State Fire Marshal’s Office), Paul Bernsen (longtime building official now with Nibley City) and John Keller (Deputy Fire Marshal, Logan City Fire Department). The council voted unanimously to give advice and consent on those appointments.

Council members explained that a minor mapping/lot boundary piece needs to be corrected before some candidates could formally take seats; the resolution proceeds with the names and staff will follow up to finalize legal boundaries.
