Village water system pump station failure required emergency rental equipment; bypass planned

He said the system's backups prevented service interruptions to customers and that the utility plans to install a bypass so that future failures will not require the same special equipment. The board asked a clarifying question about customer impacts; Jason said backups prevented service disruption and customers (including businesses along the corridor) were not affected.
