The petitioner said all work and tire storage will occur inside the existing building. “I’m planning to do the work inside,” Oscar Dominguez Mondragon said, adding that the building has three bays and separate rooms for storing new tires.
Staff noted the property previously operated as a mechanic shop and that hours of operation and four full‑time employees were listed in the application. The petition included assurances that no abandoned vehicles or outside tire piles would remain on site.
Board members expressed concern that similar approvals have sometimes resulted in outdoor tire storage and emphasized compliance. The board approved the special exception with the explicit condition that tires be stored indoors.
The petition was recorded as ZBA‑25‑25 and the board approved the request by voice vote.
