Approved procurement and contract items included a general services agreement with Human Resource Management Inc. for assessment testing; an agreement with Diversified Computer Services LLC for county information management system maintenance for fleet and service records; an amendment to the county’s memorandum lease with Alabama Power Company for parking spaces; and an amendment (beginning July 31, 2025 and ending July 31, 2026) with Diversified Companies LLC d/b/a DIVCO Data for printing and mailing probate notices. The commission also approved additional cleaning and support‑services contract amendments with Supreme Cleaning and Spring Cleaning.
Appointments approved on the consent agenda included Tim Bowden to the South Montgomery County Fire Protection Authority and Rescue Squad; Alma B. Searls, Sharon Calhoun and Jessica Horsley to the Montgomery County Appeals and Grievances Board; and Daphne Essex as a board member to the Montgomery Area Mental Health Authority. The commission also approved miscellaneous appropriations: $2,000 from Commissioner Moore Ziegler to Carver High School drill and honor guard and $2,500 from Commissioner Sankey to the Goodwin Middle School cheer program, among other designated grants recorded on the agenda.
Other items in the consent package included a memorandum of understanding with the Town of Pike Road to conduct and administer the regular municipal election; final payment for the food pass trade project at the Montgomery County Detention Facility; and travel and training requests for appraisal, the commission, DA, finance and the sheriff.
