A separate item — a request for a special‑use permit to allow a community residential facility on roughly 5.92 acres at the southeast corner of Breedlove Street and North Loop 499 — was opened for consideration but then tabled after staff discovered the ordinance text was not included in the meeting packet. City staff and the commission agreed to table that item to the June 4 meeting so the missing ordinance can be provided; the public hearing for the item had been held earlier in the evening and no one had appeared to speak.
Commissioners cast unanimous voice votes on the annexation and rezoning first readings; the special‑use permit was tabled by motion after staff explained the omission.
