Council approves partial replats for 1005 College Street and Buffalo Springs Section 2

The Montgomery City Council approved two partial replats on May 27: a subdivision of a tract at 1005 College Street (Jada Manor Section 1, Tract 2) and a partial replat for Buffalo Springs Section 2.
Planning staff said the College Street property had previously extended from College to Carrollton Street and the owner requested subdivision into two parcels; the proposed parcels meet size requirements. The owner will dedicate additional right-of-way along Caroline Street to even out the roadway alignment, staff said. Staff noted floodplain exists on the site and that future house permits must comply with floodplain regulations and any applicable variances.
On Buffalo Springs Section 2 staff said the replat is similar in process to the College Street item and that architectural control items may apply; staff said some developer-specific questions would require follow-up with the city attorney or applicant.
Both motions passed by voice vote. Council directed that standard permitting and floodplain-compliance steps must be completed as parcels move toward building permits.
