He said the provision authorizes ACCD to reimburse non‑legislative members who are not otherwise reimbursed by their employers.
Segal said the committee set an effective date for some task‑force provisions to take effect upon passage because the group’s first meeting is scheduled for July 15 and members should be appointed before July 1. There were no changes to powers, duties, reporting or meeting frequency noted in the House edits, he said.
