He said the partnership reported $265 million in new regional economic activity tied to projects that generated 390 announced jobs and about $162 million in new capital investment in one reporting line; the presentation also highlighted Munters’ recent announced expansion, which Hall said will add about 270 jobs and $29.9 million in new capital investment.
“The partnership serves eight localities…with one goal, which is growing the regional economy,” Hall said, describing work on market‑ready real estate, talent attraction and place‑making. He noted a multi‑year private fundraising campaign (Thrive 2027) and said the region has attracted roughly $530 million in capital investment since 2022 and is approaching campaign goals for job creation and investment.
Hall also reviewed marketing efforts, new websites for talent attraction and outdoor‑brand events that drew tens of thousands of visitors, which the partnership said generated an additional $5.4 million in economic impact tied to outdoor events and amenities. Board members thanked Hall and discussed private‑public fundraising models and regional collaboration.
No formal action was required; the presentation served as an informational briefing on regional economic development activity and partnership work that may affect Botetourt County’s own economic development planning.
