Marzal described Oregon truffles as "world class," sustainably harvested with trained dogs, and noted February is peak season. Committee members offered informal suggestions—Vice Chair Drazen suggested holding a reception in February so legislators could sample truffles—but the hearing closed with no committee vote recorded on the bill during this meeting.
