Park High senior says graphic arts program launched clothing business plans

“When I first came to Park, I didn't really know what I wanted to do, but Park made me feel like family, and I kind of found myself very quickly,” Ozer said. He described designing apparel under a logo he calls “certified shark.” “I make hoodies, shirts, pants. This is my logo, certified shark,” he said.
Ozer told the audience he will attend Carthage College, where he plans to study business while competing in football and track. “I'm going to Carthage College for football and track, and I'm gonna be studying business there as well,” he said. He added that he hopes to open his own store one day and to help others start clothing brands.
Ozer framed his remarks around the practical benefits he gained from Park’s career-pathway courses. He said the graphic arts sequence gave him an early push toward entrepreneurship, helped him choose a college major and prepared him for small-business work.
No formal action or vote followed Ozer’s comments. The remarks appeared to be a personal testimony about his educational experience and future plans.
