Commissioner CUNY told the Spokane County Board of County Commissioners on May 27 that county and city leaders are working to set up a joint meeting between the county commissioners and the Spokane City Council.
CUNY said discussions about dates have begun and that June is the target month. He asked fellow commissioners to watch for proposed dates and to be prepared to adjust schedules so the meeting can occur soon. CUNY said he had spoken with the city council president, Betsy Wilkerson, who indicated it might be time to hold a joint meeting.
No formal scheduling decision, motion or vote occurred during the briefing. Commissioners were informed to expect scheduling notices and to coordinate availability.
