The McCracken County Fiscal Court on May 27 approved a series of financial orders and advanced the county’s fiscal-year 2024–25 budget process.
The court ordered necessary cash transfers totaling $550,000 to pay county bills and payroll for the May 27, 2025 payment run and approved a voucher-claims register showing county bills paid between May 12 and May 27; during that vote a member noted an apparent discrepancy in the amount reported (speaker queried a figure stated as $756,404.88 vs. $764,404).
