The item was taken from the consent agenda for brief discussion; staff described the animal as an asset with an estimated value of $16,000–$17,000. The commission approved the transfer and the associated transfer agreement.
The roll call vote recorded Commissioners Granger, Street, Halligas, Lucas and Mayor Rowan voting yes. No amendments or conditions to the transfer were made during the meeting.
