The Saratoga County Board of Supervisors held a public hearing May 13, 2025, to seek public input on a proposed lease with Alexi's at the Airport Inc to operate the restaurant space at the Saratoga County Airport. The hearing opened at 4:30 p.m. in the board meeting room at 40 McMaster Street, Boston Spa.
The clerk of the board read the hearing notice, saying in part: “Take notice that pursuant to resolution 86 of 2025, the Saratoga County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, 05/13/2025 at 04:30PM or soon thereafter … on a proposed lease with Alexi's at the Airport Inc for operation of the restaurant space at the Saratoga County Airport.” The clerk also said copies of the lease key terms were available in the clerk’s office and online at www.saratogacountyny.gov, and that written comments would be accepted if received by 3:30 p.m. on May 13, 2025.
No members of the public were signed up to speak and the clerk reported no written communications were received for the hearing. A presiding supervisor told the board the lease would “achieve one of the goals” of the airport project — providing a food service vendor on-site for travelers and the general public — and then closed the hearing.
The hearing record shows the board convened the public comment opportunity as required by Resolution 86 of 2025; however, the transcript does not record any formal board vote or final action on the lease at that session. Copies of the lease’s key terms remain available from the clerk’s office and on the county website for review.
