SUNY Ulster President Allison Buckley presented the college’s tentative 2025–26 budget at a public hearing before the Ulster County Legislature on May 20, saying enrollment has risen and the college is preparing to add staff to meet demand.
Buckley told legislators that enrollment at SUNY Ulster is up 6.3% fall over fall and another 7.4% this spring and that the college plans to hire 13 new positions, including five full-time faculty. “This is going to open doors for working adults and families across the county and SUNY Ulster is ready,” she said.
