Tarver said she already owns a neighboring business and has operated at the address for three years.
Staff recommended approval with two conditions: plans must meet all water-utilities requirements, including backflow/pre-treatment and any sanitary sewer improvements, and the project must comply with all applicable building and fire codes. Staff reported 17 property-owner notices were sent and five were in favor with none opposed. A motion to approve the permit with the conditions carried on a voice vote.
The commission's approval allows the applicant to proceed with required utility and building-permit steps; the conditions must be satisfied before final occupancy.
