County staff requested permission to accept and sign paperwork for a $125,000 renewal of a Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) that funds case-management services for the county’s CLPS program.
Staff said they originally applied for the grant in 2018 and received funding in 2019; accepting the renewal will extend the grant support into 2026. The presenter told the board the grant has netted the county about $875,000 since its start and that the current award pays for case-management services tied to CLPS.
Commissioners thanked staff for the work in securing and managing the grant and moved to authorize acceptance and signing of the paperwork. The motion carried by voice vote.
