Sterling Heights recognizes Taurus Products on 55 years in business, council adopts congratulatory resolution

Sterling Heights — The City Council adopted a resolution recognizing Taurus Products Incorporated for 55 years of business and 40 years in Sterling Heights and invited company representatives and family for a photo following the vote.

Why it matters: Council members and city staff said Taurus is a long-standing local advanced-manufacturing employer that supports the local tax base and regional supply chains. Vanderpool estimated Taurus’s 100 employees had an annual local economic impact "over $20,000,000" and said the firm had paid "over $4,000,000 in property taxes over the last 40 years."
