Council committee moves multiple summer festival permit petitions to formal session

The items were presented as agenda lines 6.1 through 6.5 and each was moved "to formal session with recommendations for approval" after a motion and no recorded objections. Committee members gave basic event details on the record: Platinum Professionals Inc.'s Summerfest was listed for June 19–20, 2025, with Heart Plaza setup starting June 18; Shar/Echo Detroit's Juneteenth celebration was listed for June 14 at 1851 West Grand Boulevard; Backwood and Bonfires was scheduled for July 19 at Eastern Market (Russell Street); Saeed Abdul's Soul Food & R&B Festival was listed for June 21 at Roseville Park; and Messickettown Community Development Corporation's Concert of Colors event was listed for June 28 at its Mercado and plaza.
