The board discussed potential one-time uses of any carryover funds, including special-education needs, building repairs at Brown School and other capital items.
The motion to reduce the health insurance line was moved and seconded and approved in the meeting vote. Board members asked administration to continue refining projections as fiscal year close approaches and to consider whether end-of-year funds should be allocated to recurring or one-time needs.
