Recreation advisory committee elects chair and vice chair, schedules follow-up meeting

Later the committee moved, seconded and approved Liz as vice chair by voice vote. Members also discussed meeting cadence for the advisory committee. The committee’s code of ordinances currently calls for meetings twice a year. Several members said that schedule was insufficient for the level of work they want to do, particularly given storm recovery and event funding issues. Members voted to schedule an additional meeting for Tuesday, July 15 at 9 a.m.; the motion to set that date passed by voice vote and a second.
A motion to adjourn was made and seconded at the end of the meeting.
