The market organizers and commissioners said getting a vendor list, confirming food-safety and street-use permits and resolving parking and ADA drop-off access are prerequisites before holding regular weekly markets.
At the meeting, the organizer said the initial goal is a small test: "let's see if we can do a couple of these in August and see what happens. If we get it turned out, if it's fun, then we're doing it right," and commissioners urged starting inside the community center or with a single outdoor test to avoid upfront permitting burdens.
