Walton County TRC chair announces departure after more than a decade

At the opening of the May 21, 2025 meeting, the Committee chair announced it was their final Walton County Tactical Review Committee meeting and said they were stepping down after roughly 12 years in the role.
“I appreciate my time here. It's been been a long time since 2013, when I started chairing this particular committee. But it's time for someone else now and we got somebody that's well qualified to do that,” the Committee chair said. They closed their remarks by saying, “And my time here is over.”
Staff and committee members acknowledged the chair’s statement and handed over meeting responsibilities to other staff for the remainder of the agenda. The announcement was procedural; no formal personnel action was recorded during the meeting.
