New Albany High School held commencement exercises at Huntington Park, where school and district leaders presented diplomas and certified the Class of 2025.

Principal Rob Russell opened the ceremony and thanked the district's staff, families and board members. The ceremony recognized 10 seniors who had committed to military service and invited active and retired veterans in the audience to stand. The 10 students named at the ceremony were David Cram, Luca Deegan, Balen Goede, Mason Gregory, Nick Hernandez, Mason Howard, Matt Kraus, Jack Lower, Easton Marcus and Savannah Steele.

Deborah Kalinowski, president of the New Albany-Plain Local Schools Board of Education, formally accepted and certified the graduating class. "On behalf of the New Albany Plain Local Schools Board of Education, it is with great pride that I accept all of you and officially certify you as the New Albany High School class of 2025," Kalinowski said.

Student remarks included a salutatorian address by Donna Stahn and additional student speakers who reflected on growth, gratitude to families and staff, and advice for the graduates' next steps.

At the ceremony's close, district staff announced that graduates would leave the field through the right-field gate and asked families to meet students on Nationwide Boulevard. The recessional music was performed by the New Albany High School orchestra.
