The Central Valley School Board on May 22 approved a slate of personnel actions that included additions to the 2024-25 list of bus drivers and aides, approvals of staff for the extended school year (ESY), paraprofessionals to provide ESY support as required by student IEPs (July 7–July 17, 2025) at contracted rates, and the hire of Ryan Cordes as a full-time second-shift Lehi custodian effective April 21, 2025, pending required clearances and in accordance with the CVESP memorandum of understanding.
The board accepted several resignations: Caitlin Bickerstaff (building monitor, effective May 31, 2025), Haley Mitchell (paraprofessional, effective May 31, 2025), Tracy Friend (registered nurse, effective June 30, 2025), Theresa Divensanes (paraprofessional, effective May 30, 2025), Karina Pavlinch (paraprofessional, effective May 30, 2025), and Diane Cooper (cafeteria general worker, effective Oct. 31, 2025). The board also approved hires of Beth Hughes and Deb Calhoun as paraprofessionals at $18 per hour effective Aug. 19, 2025, pending clearances.
The board recorded motions to approve these personnel items; multiple approvals were explicitly listed as "pending receipt, review and acceptance of all clearances." The board also noted the ESP summer custodial substitute staff will work from June 2 through Aug. 14; ten people are listed in the attachments.
