The School District No. Re-3 Fort Morgan Board of Education approved several personnel agreements and salary schedules for the 2025–26 school year and authorized Fort Morgan High School students to attend the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California.
During the action portion of the meeting board members moved to approve MOUs and salary schedules for multiple employee groups, including the FMEA and professional/technical classifications. A board member moved to approve and another seconded; the board completed roll-call confirmation where members responded in the affirmative. During roll call speakers said, in sequence, “I’m Amy Grantham. I’m Eddy Hopper. I’m Katie Jess. I’m John Cowdy,” among others, indicating recorded votes in favor.
The board also approved item 17, Fort Morgan High School FBLA National Leadership Conference travel, scheduled June 29 through July 2, 2025, in Anaheim. The item was moved, seconded and approved by roll call.
Superintendent-level administrators presented personnel and HR context in prior remarks, noting the district had 18 certified openings and continuing classified and coaching vacancies. The assistant superintendent for HR reported that MOUs include step and lane changes, insurance increases and longevity bonuses but that the district was not able to place additional salary dollars on base pay this year because of state-finance constraints.
Minutes show the board approved the items during the meeting’s action agenda; the packet included contract language and salary schedules for board review.
