The Clayton City Council unanimously approved Resolution R-05-255-46, authorizing the city manager to enter an agreement with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield through the Ohio Benefits Cooperative for group health insurance coverage from Sept. 1, 2025, through Aug. 31, 2026.
A staff member identified in the meeting as Miss Whitman told the council the city has participated in the Ohio Benefits Cooperative for about four years and that the plan year-to-year premium for the coming period reflects a 1.4% increase while plan design remains the same. "This year, there's been a just an increase of, 1.4% in, the, coverage or in the premium this year, which is great," Miss Whitman said.
