The Cottage Grove Library Board approved a memorandum of understanding with McFarland Public Library to provide story-time programming and materials from September through December 2025.

Heidi Cox, McFarland’s library director, was cited in the agenda memo as the McFarland contact; McFarland will return to provide story time and bring materials for checkout during the September–December window. Board members clarified McFarland does not offer the same sessions in summer, explaining the May–August gap in the schedule.

Board members noted the cost is $100 per program. Megan moved to approve the fall MOU and Ally seconded; the motion carried on a voice vote. The board said it will revisit arrangements for the 2026 story-time cycle in December.
