Barker Hall names events coordinator, outlines programming for downtown arts and community use

Jonathan Albertine introduced himself at the Redevelopment Commission meeting on May 22 as the newly appointed events coordinator and project director for Barker Hall at Trinity Church.
Albertine described Barker Hall, 600 Franklin, as a downtown venue for cultural enrichment and community events. "The great hall is gonna accommodate us up to 300 or more people," he said, and noted additional spaces including the Bishop's Residence (about 40 people) and breakout rooms on lower levels.
Albertine said Barker Hall recently hosted a school jazz ensemble event with nearly 200 attendees and that he is coordinating events with local arts and Main Street partners. He asked the public to follow Barker Hall social media for updates and booking information.
